Randall Mays is an American businessman, investor and philanthropist based in San Antonio, Texas.  Randall is currently Co-Managing Partner of Mays Family Enterprises and CEO of Running M Capital.  He sits on the boards of Live Nation Entertainment, Digital Defense, Spinal Stabilization Technologies, BuildGroup Technology Fund and the Mays Family Foundation.  Randall is also the Co-Founder of the NeuroElasticity Project, while learning and exploring opportunities within Consciousness.

Running M Capital is an agile private investment firm supporting innovative and passionate entrepreneurs with novel ideas and technologies. Running M Capital’s investments are diverse, ranging anywhere from healthcare technology to SaaS based technology companies to healthy food products to real estate, and investment decisions focus primarily on the drive and vision of the individual entrepreneurs.

After graduating from Harvard Business School in 1991, Randall began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co. before joining Clear Channel Communications. Randall Mays spent over 15 years at Clear Channel Communications (now iHeartCommunications), a Fortune 500 mass media corporation, holding various leadership roles including Vice Chairman and President.  During his tenure, Clear Channel Communications (NYSE:CCU) was the best performing stock on the NYSE for the decade of the 90’s.    In his time, Randall helped grow Clear Channel Communications from a handful of radio stations to an enterprise with over 1,200 radio stations, one of the largest outdoor advertising businesses in the world and the largest concert company.

While at Clear Channel, Randall led the strategic initiative to further consolidate the Live Entertainment business.  Randall was the CEO of Clear Channel Entertainment and oversaw its spinout into the publicly traded company now known as Live Nation Entertainment (NYSE:LVY).  Live Nation has become the world’s leading live entertainment company, the leader in concerts producing 20,000+ shows annually, as well as the leader in ticketing through its subsidiary Ticketmaster.  The Live Nation group is comprised of global market leaders Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts and Artist Nation Management.   Randall served as the Chairman of Live Nation from its inception until its merger with TicketMaster.  After stepping down as Chairman in 2010, Randall remains on the board as Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee.

Randall has a personal interest in neuroscience and consciousness.  He is currently incubating a donor collaborative, the NeuroElasticity Project, to fund cutting edge research and development in neuroplasticity and brain health optimization, as well as exploring opportunities to fund research and business opportunities within human consciousness through the non-profit group Senkalpa.

Randall is a devoted father to his four children who are most often by his side as he explores his passion for travel, talking to strangers, mentoring, fly fishing, pickleball, cooking and hiking.
